Designed For: Sworn law enforcement – federal, state, or local.

Prerequisites: Attendees must be sworn law enforcement

Description:  This an intensive hands-on, live fire, 3-day course that focuses on the employment of the pistol and carbine rifle.

AMMO: 600 Rifle, 600 Pistol

Course curriculum includes:

1. Practical application drills
2. Shooting Positions
3. Shooting and moving
4. Emergency action drills
5. Malfunction clearance
6. Loading and Reloading techniques
7. Carbine and equipment selection discussion
8. Carbine/Rifle safety considerations
9. Marksmanship fundamentals
10. Zeroing procedures (irons/optics)
11. Ready positions
12. Vehicle engagement considerations
13. Sight holdover techniques

Attire & Equipment: Comfortable field attire is encouraged. This class is geared toward officers performing in their duty environment. Please feel free to wear what you work in.

MANTA training is provided free of charge to Law Enforcement Officers through a Governor’s Crime Commission Grant and the NC National Guard Counterdrug Program.
