Title: Drone Surveillance for Narcotics Investigations

Course Description:

This course is designed to educate drone operators and narcotics investigators in the implementation of small Unmanned Aircraft Systems for surveillance in drug related investigations. This two-day course includes actual flights for simulated drug investigations.
When: February 19-20, 2025, 0800-1700 hrs

Fee: $70/student (Fee waived for State/Local Law Enforcement)
Who Should Attend: Federal, State, & Local Law Enforcement Officers; Qualifying Military Personnel (e.g. Counterdrug Units, Military Police, etc.)
Pre-requisites: None (No Part 107 Required)
Required Equipment: Vehicle (for transportation to practical scenarios off-site), handheld radio, pen/paper.
***Students may bring their agency’s sUAS as long as it is compliant with FAA regulations and State laws. If you do not have a drone, students may still attend.***
