Course Description

Undercover Techniques and Survival for Narcotics Officers is designed for both law enforcement officers who are beginning to work undercover narcotics operations and those who have experience in the field. The basic portion of the course includes essentials for newer undercover officers, it also provides veterans with a foundational refresher. The course moves into advanced undercover techniques including use of audio/video surveillance techniques and an introduction to new technology. The “survival” portion of the classroom instruction impacts all undercover officers and focuses on those skills which help officers maintain safety while undercover.
