ACTIVE SHOOTER THREAT TRAINING PROGRAM: January 30 – February 2, 2017
Army National Guard Armory | Fayetteville, NC

 

Length: 4 Days (32 hours)
Designed For: This course is intended specifically for law enforcement officers.

 

Prerequisites: Students must be sworn law enforcement officers or currently serving in a law enforcement capacity as a member of the United States Armed Forces. Priority of registration is given to state and local civilian law enforcement officers.

 

Description: This program is designed to qualify students by instilling the knowledge and skills to successfully handle an active threat event. The training utilizes dynamic interactive drills and scenario based training. It is an intensive 32 hour (4-day) training program that covers a variety of tactical subject matters to include individual and team movement and operational formation. In addition, this program focuses on the role and responsibilities of the responding officers. Upon successful completion of the course, each student will receive a certificate of completion.

 

MANTA training is provided free of charge to Law Enforcement Officers through a Governor’s Crime Commission Grant and the NC National Guard Counterdrug Program.
