Description: This course is specifically geared towards Law Enforcement and other non-EMS first responders. TECC is a set of best practice treatment guidelines for trauma care in the high-threat pre-hospital environment. These guidelines are built upon critical lessons learned by the US and allied military forces over 20 plus years of conflict. They are appropriately modified to address the specific needs of civilian populations. The course covers materials found in the TECC provider course at a level appropriate for LEO. It includes interactive lectures, skill stations, and patient simulations. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a card recognizing them as a TECC-LEO provider for 4 years, and CAPCE credit for qualified participants, and civilian First Responders.
MANTA training is provided free of charge to Law Enforcement Officers through the NC National Guard Counterdrug Program.
