Training location: 3600 Samarcand Road, Jackson Springs, NC 27281
This 2-day NVG familiarization course accelerates students through a brief class covering topics on theory, principles, light,
and inner workings of night vision followed by NLTA practical exercises proofing the class material. NLTA skills and drills follow
lunch. Day 2 is live fire on the range. Your instructor may be reached at 904-682-3939 (office with working voicemail) or

Student Responsibilities and Requirements
o Must demonstrate safe weapons manipulation in low, zero visibility environments
o Your duty / call-out gear
o Body armor
o Helmet (with shroud / mounting plate)
o NVG mount
o NVGs (that are helmet mountable)
o Pistol and rifle mounted optics that are zeroed
o IR rifle-mounted and zeroed LASER
o Handheld flashlight
o Weapon mounted flashlight for both pistol and rifle
o NLTA: 100 pistol, 200 rifle (UTM, Sims, AirSoft, Unit Solutions)
o Batteries and back-up batteries for all equipment that takes batteries
o Water, snacks (1-hour time limit for dinner), appropriate clothing, headlamp
o 3 mags for each weapon that can be secured
o Live ammo: 350 pistol, 750 rifle
o Clear eye protection and electronic hearing protection
o Note taking material and a willingness to learn
